Valemetostat (DS-3201) vermindert de levensvatbaarheid van ATL-cellen significant in vergelijking met de andere en reactiveert de expressie van de sterk H3K27me3-geaccumuleerde EZH1/2-doelgenen in een ex vivo-cultuur van primaire ATL-cellen. Het toont ook superieure anti-groeieffecten vergeleken met een EZH2-selectieve remmer in kwaadaardige lymfoomcellijnen..
