Biologische activiteit

Beschrijving Insulin (human) (Insulin regular) is een polypeptidehormoon dat het glucosegehalte reguleert. Insuline wordt vaak gebruikt om hyperglykemie te behandelen bij patiënten met diabetes. Potentie: 29 eenheden/mg.
In vitro

Insulin (human), een inductor van AKT-fosforylering, vermindert de niveaus van LC3-II, VP1 via de AKT-AMPKMAPK-MTOR-route in met SVV geïnfecteerde cellen.

  • Methode

    BHK-21 cells and PK-15 cells are grown to 80% confluence in well plates and pretreated with insulin (human) (200 ng/ml) for 1 h. The pretreated cells are then infected with SVV for 1 h. The cells are then washed with phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) and incubated with new medium containing the same chemical reagents. Cell viability in the presence of this compound is tested.
