Biologische activiteit

Beschrijving

ABTL0812 (α-Hydroxylinolzuur, LP-10218, SCLN-0812) remt de Akt/mTOR-as door de overexpressie van TRIB3 te induceren en autofagie te activeren in longplaveiselcelcarcinoom-cellijnen. ABTL0812 induceert ook AMPK-activering en ROS-accumulatie.

ABTL0812 remt de Akt/mTOR-as door de overexpressie van TRIB3 te induceren en autofagie te activeren in longplaveiselcelcarcinoom-cellijnen. Bovendien induceert behandeling met ABTL0812 ook AMPK-activering en ROS-accumulatie. Bovendien verhoogt de combinatie van ABTL0812 met chemotherapie het therapeutische effect van chemotherapie aanzienlijk zonder de toxiciteit te verhogen. Combinatie van ABTL0812 en chemotherapie induceert niet-apoptotische celdood gemedieerd door TRIB3-activering en autofagie-inductie.

In vivo

ABTL0812 verhoogt de antitumoractiviteit zowel in adenocarcinomen als in plaveiselcel long xenografts.
