Beschrijving PDTC (Pyrrolidinedithiocarbamate ammonium) is een krachtige nucleaire factor-κB (NF-κB)-remmer die IκB-fosforylering remt, NF-κB-translocatie naar de kern blokkeert en de expressie van downstream cytokinen vermindert.

In vitro Ammoniumpyrrolidinedithiocarbamaat (PDTC) kan de rol van NF-κB remmen door IκB-fosforylering te remmen, waardoor NF-κB-translocatie naar de kern wordt geblokkeerd en de expressie van downstream cytokinen wordt verminderd.
